Tebogo Thobejane accused of staging allegedly hit
The shooting incident on actress and strip club owner Tebogo Thobejane's car on Tuesday has come under scrutiny. Former SA actress and strip club owner Tebogo Thobejane is accused of staging a hit allegedly staged by her former bestie, Inno Morolong, who is reportedly a suspect in the shooting. The incident occurred on 17 October at Saints Champagne Lounge in Sandton, Johannesburg, according to reports that a source alleges that ThobeJane staged the shooting and was looking for publicity for her club when she allegedly staged the event. Thobogo escaped unscathed but a friend she was traveling with was wounded and is being treated in hospital. The feud between the two ex-friends dates back to 2021, and has reportedly tarnished Thobogane's image and cost her government event gigs.

Former actress Tebogo Thobejane survived what she believes was a hit on Tuesday, 17 October, on their way back home from Saints Champagne Lounge in Sandton, Johannesburg, at around 23:00.
reports that a source alleged that the influencer and strip club owner staged the shooting.

The source is friends with Thobejane’s former bestie, Inno Morolong, who is reported to be a suspect in the shooting due to her messy fall out with the actress.
“Tebogo is probably staging this, looking for publicity for her club since she is opening it again. But who would want to shoot the poor girl?” the friend asked.
“The club industry is very competitive, as well, she needs to look into that also. She must just leave Inno out of this, shame.”

During the incident, Thobejane escaped unscathed but a friend she was traveling with was wounded and is being treated in hospital.
When contacted for a comment, Morolong – who is a reality star – said the protection order against her restricts her from commenting.

‘I AM GOING TO KILL YOU’
The feud between the ex-friends dates back to 2021. Last year, however, things escalated when Morolong took to Instagram to accuse Thobejane of “sleeping with the president”. The reality TV star also claimed that the actress is a bad mother.
“What about the president? What about when you travelled with your friend? Today you guys are besties. What you were saying about your friend that you travelled with. You did a threesome with her and then you like ‘she’s so boring in bed,’” Morolong had said on Instagram.
According to Thobejane, who spoke to in May this year, these claims have tarnished her image and have cost her government event gigs.
“I am a GBV [gender-based violence] survivor because of what happened with my parents. I was supposed to speak at a government event late last year, but they said I should not speak because I am reputational damage,” she said.

Thobejane also disclosed that she has relocated to Germany following death threats from Morolong who took to social media in January to post naked pictures of her and also shared her phone number and her son’s residential address.
“I had to move in with my sister for three weeks in Berlin [Germany] after I received a call saying ‘I am going to fucken kill you. You have done too much. I am going to kill you’”.
